07 Jun I’ve Never Really Liked the Word “No” – Ted Crockett
From a distance, Ted Crockett is probably one of the most unassuming people you’ll ever see. Growing up on a farm, his childhood was serene but isolated. You can sense that he appreciates peace and quiet. But start to talk with Ted and you’ll realize that he’s a mover and shaker, a go-getter who doesn’t stop working hard for himself and others in the community.
Despite growing up without a television, Ted came to Nashville with nothing but a sock full of hard earned money and made a successful career as a business manager in the music industry. Now, after years of working with the Nashville Film Festival, he’s brought Nashville’s film industry to the global theater. He’s one of the many people in the city who refuses to take no for an answer, something the community has greatly benefited from.
